Comme c\u2019est gentil, comme c\u2019est \u00ab\u00a0tendance\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0! Mais aussi, comme il est instructif\u2026 de le lire, avec une petite id\u00e9e du bon fran\u00e7ais. Revenons au <em>Littr\u00e9<\/em> qui en donne deux acceptions\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Succession de deux choses qui reviennent tour \u00e0 tour.<\/li>\n<li>Option entre deux choses, entre deux propositions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>M\u00eame en faisant la gr\u00e2ce d\u2019oublier la fautive lourdeur (plus saine au beurre), m\u00eame en imaginant que le r\u00e9dacteur de ce bel article ait eu en t\u00eate la premi\u00e8re acception du <em>Littr\u00e9<\/em>, la phrase cit\u00e9e ci-dessus n\u2019en serait pas moins erron\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Car l\u2019alternative est un moment, un \u00e9tat par lequel le sujet consid\u00e8re deux choix, et doit en \u00e9liminer l\u2019un. Il n\u2019y a pas possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019avoir en m\u00eame temps un peu de l\u2019un et un peu de l\u2019autre. Lorsque nous h\u00e9sitons avant d\u2019agir ou de ne pas agir, d\u2019aller \u00e0 droite ou \u00e0 gauche (je parle de chemin et non d\u2019\u00e9lections) nous sommes dans une alternative, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire, au carrefour, en train de faire un choix, d\u2019\u00e9valuer les avantages et inconv\u00e9nients de l\u2019un et de l\u2019autre. C\u2019est une phase de jugement, de critique, mais certainement pas le r\u00e9sultat de ce jugement ou de cette critique.<\/p>\n<p>Poussant plus avant le raisonnement, l\u2019alternative est une logique binaire, dont se nourrit toute l\u2019informatique\u00a0: oui ou non, 0 ou 1. Rien de moins.<\/p>\n<p>Mais comme si cela ne suffisait pas, le r\u00e9dacteur anonyme poursuit\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il est donc vivement <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">conseill\u00e9 de privil\u00e9giez le beurre traditionnelle.<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Il est encore plus conseill\u00e9 de <em>privil\u00e9gier<\/em> (infinitif) le beurre <em>traditionnel<\/em> (masculin)\u2026 et de s\u2019en tenir \u00e0 la saine grammaire qui favorise la circulation du bon fran\u00e7ais, fluidifie le sens, et \u00e9vite les embolies s\u00e9mantiques.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai un doute. Embolie\u00a0? Embouligue\u00a0 comme l\u2019\u00e9crivait Pagnol\u00a0?
