Une des grandes forces de Balzac est de montrer que cette puissance tentatrice que chacun pourra appliquer au moindre de ses d\u00e9sirs se r\u00e9sume finalement \u00e0 des formes simples de pouvoir, si ce n\u2019est la vision de l\u2019avenir qui leur est associ\u00e9e, et qui sert plus de d\u00e9monstration que de but. Richesse et luxure ne sont au fond que des moteurs assez simples, presque \u00ab\u00a0de survie\u00a0\u00bb dans un monde hostile, et destin\u00e9s \u00e0 ne pas survivre \u00e0 leurs \u00ab\u00a0utilisateurs\u00a0\u00bb. Castanier, sous la plume de Balzac, est plus puissant que Baltahazar lisant le fameux \u00ab\u00a0mane, thecel, phares : compt\u00e9, pes\u00e9, divis\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, puisque lui, sait \u00e9couter les le\u00e7ons de la transcendance.

On reconna\u00eet une grande \u0153uvre \u00e0 certains crit\u00e8res. L\u2019un d\u2019eux est qu\u2019elle amplifie un drame pour atteindre le plus petit d\u2019entre nous.<\/span><\/p>\n
